Fur Showdown!

Please register below to enter your untanned furs in the Yukon Trappers Fur Showdown at at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, Friday March 9, 2018. There are prizes for the top picks, and all participants will be entered in the draws to win a skimmer and chainsaw!!

Pelts will be judged on qualities that local artisans look for when purchasing fur, including size, presentation, primeness
and uniqueness. Pelts not suitable for international auction may be more valuable to the local market.

There are 3 options to enter your pelts: *

I am sending in furs to be sold in the unFURLed Fur Boutique, and will mark the pelts I want entered with a long piece of flagging tape. Please see http://imfurreal.com/content/trappers-and-crafters if you want to sell in the Boutique. The deadline for Boutique registration is Monday Feb 26, and furs must be dropped off by Friday March 2.

I will drop off furs for the Showdown only (not for sale at unFURled) at Department of Environment on or before Thursday March 8th by 4pm

I will bring, or have someone bring the pelts to the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre between 9am and 12pm on Friday March 9th

If someone else will be picking up your furs between 5pm and 6pm at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, please enter their name here:

This event is open to the public. Judging will occur from 12pm-3pm, and prizes will be awarded at 5pm! Bring your friends and family to see the best Yukon wild furs!

Please pick up your furs between 5 and 6pm if they are not going to the Boutique.
