If at anytime we consider any of the information provided as false or you fail to keep us informed/updated of any changes then we reserve the right to terminate your application resulting in your child/the applicant losing their place at The Khanqah.
Terms and Conditions
- Parents are responsible to pick up and drop of children on time. All pupils are encouraged to come to madrasah by 4.55pm so the class can start on time. Madrasah hours are 5.00pm - 7.00pm Mon-Fri.
- Attendance and punctuality all pupils must attend madrasah every day unless they have a valid reason madrasah must be notified by message or phone call from parents explaining absence. All students must keep up the standard of attendance of 75% this is extremely important for the progress of the student. Any students leaving early must be collected by a parent and provide a note of leaving early. Parents will be contacted regarding persistent lateness and absence.
- To show any form of disrespect to the teachers will be inexcusable and any student found guilty of such behaviour will be liable for expulsion and in these cases the decision of the Management Team will be final.
- Behaviour students are required to show high standards of behaviour at all times the use of foul language and bullying will not be tolerated. If a child keeps coming late, misbehaves or doesn’t learn there sabak parents will be called in.
- Fees: Admittance Fee for new students is £15. Madrasah contributions are £8.00 all fees must be paid on Friday or £32 monthly basis at the beginning of each month to the class teacher.
- Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones or they will be confiscated
- Parents are not allowed to enter the class at any time without arranging with the principle.
- Repeated offences will incur disciplinary action
- In case of a complaint or any other matter, consult the Principal either by telephone or letter.
- All students are required to wear clothing which conforms to Islamic dress. All students are expected to adhere to the Madrassah uniform:
- Boys–a white topi/cap and white Jubbah.
- Girls–a black scarf and black abayah.
- It is important the uniform is kept clean, nails should be kept short and no nail varnish or makeup should be used clothes must be according to the sunnah.
- Hair should be cut according to the sunnah method. Short back and sides or anything which contradicts the sunnah will not be permissible
