Volunteer Events for Calendar & Social Media
Who should post to this calendar?

This calendar is ONLY for use by Certified Master Gardeners or Composters, or interns who are helping to lead volunteer events. We're very sorry, but this calendar is NOT for the general public to post events.

What happens when you submit an event? *Your event automatically goes on our website calendar that reaches hundreds of people across the state. It also goes to our social media volunteers who will post your event on our Community Horticulture Facebook & Instagram pages.

Best Practices for Volunteer Events Submissions:

1. Post as far ahead of time as possible - 2 weeks at a minimum.

2. Appropriate topics include approved master gardener or composter volunteer projects, one-time events, and chapter-sponsored events.

3.Please email all images you would like us to post on social media  to UVMEMG@gmail.com.

How will volunteers help the community at this event?  Is there a link to a resource on the Community Horticulture program website that relates to the topic and educates the audience? *
