Virtual Scouting Opportunities
This form is for volunteers who are planning specific classes at specified date and time. Please fill out this form to be included on our list of virtual Scouting classes. We thank you for all you do for Scouting.
Virtual Standards and Best Practices
- All Youth Protection policies must be followed in a virtual teaching environment. If you need a refresher on the barriers to abuse, please visit to view the training. This includes no one on one contact during electronic communication (video or written) and having a second adult leader at the course if teaching youth. If a female youth is part of the class, there needs to be an adult female on the course. We are working on compiling a list of volunteers willing to fill this role, but we ask that counselors work to set this up themselves to start.

- You must have the equipment, software, and capability to offer the class.

- If you are offering a virtual class, you will need to determine the class size needed for your course based on interaction needed with the participants.

- When offering a class that completes requirements for an award, you must have a system in place to track who is attending and earning the requirements. Some systems offer a sign in, otherwise a roll call is acceptable.
