Following in the 1,500-year tradition of the Christian Church, we at St. Paul’s keep the great feast each year which honors all of the Saints in heaven.
You are invited to celebrate All Saints this year in a special way. During our parish celebrations on All Saints’ Day, your family can receive a consecrated icon of a Saint whose life and ministry you find particularly meaningful.
Icons are beautiful painted images of Saints. These “windows to heaven” can help us encounter God in new ways. Prints icon will be mounted on birch wood and consecrated by Fr. Luke at our All Saints Day Eucharist on Sunday, November 2.
Use your icon to carry the spirit of our All Saints’ Day celebration throughout the year in your home.
Please submit your request for an icon by Sunday, October 19
If you aren't familiar with a Saint or icon on the list a quick Google search should give information.
Saint Paul's is grateful to the Baum family for making this their project each November in memory of Allen Baum. A fund in his name in the Saint Paul's Foundation makes possible the icons at All Saints as well as coins for Saint Nicholas Day.
