Ghostlight Theatre Youth Summer Camps are for children ages 10-17.

ONSTAGE: Performance Track. (15 max per session) Students will get to experience what it is like to put on a full length production, from auditions to performance. They will be expected to memorize lines, create characterizations, and perform in front of a live audience.

BACKSTAGE: Technical Track. (5 max per session) Students will learn and assist with all aspects “behind the scenes” of a theater production, including: set, costume and props design and construction, lighting design, sound production, stage management & more. They will be assigned backstage roles to perform during performances, as appropriate by age level.

Submission form & full payment must be received in order for your student to be considered enrolled in the program. Once a session is full, a wait list will be created and used to fill any cancellations. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after registration officially closes (5/26/24).

Students should bring a water bottle and snack (optional) to class each day. Please DO NOT provide snacks that include any nuts or nut butter. Students must wear closed toe shoes to all rehearsals. Those students enrolled in the technical track will have an additional safety waiver to sign on the first day.

Live theater is a collaborative effort. Prompt and regular attendance is expected for the full length of the session. Students who are chronically late, absent or leave early from rehearsals may be dropped from the final production with no refund given. For their safety, students must be physically signed in and out for every rehearsal and performance in the front office by an authorized parent or guardian.

A code of conduct and behavior contract will be sent home with students and reviewed in person on the first day of class. These rules are laid out for the safety and comfort of students and staff. I understand that failure to follow the rules, listen to instructions and behave appropriately by my student will result in dismissal from the program with no refund given.
