1John 3:17-18 - 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
We have a Benevolent Fund Policy that governs the use of benevolent funds. If you are struggling with basic needs (food, lodging, clothing, utilities, medical, emergency assistance, short term financial assistance), please fill out the form and a Deacon from Northwest will contact you regarding your need.
The NWBC Benevolent Fund is not intended for long-term assistance, nor is it intended for non-emergencies or circumstances that result from unwise financial practices. For food requests, a Care Bank (food, clothing, hygiene items) is also available at the church generally on Sundays at 9:30AM - 12:00 PM and Wednesdays during the school year from 6:30PM - 7:30PM.
Financial assistance may be provided for NWBC members, regular attendees, or members of the local community who have been referred by a member of NWBC.
