LEAF 2026 is an event that will be run solely with donated time and love. We really truly honestly couldn't do it without you! Many hands make light work and we'll make sure you have a great time!
We have many volunteer needs before, during, and after the event. Festival Volunteer shifts are 4 hours each -- the more shifts you work, the more sweet LEAF swag and perks you can earn.
1 shift = LEAF sticker, LEAF bandana OR LEAF patch, plus free competition registration
2 shifts = LEAF sticker, LEAF patch, and LEAF bandana, plus free competition registration
3 shifts = LEAF sticker, LEAF patch OR bandana, LEAF T-Shirt, plus free competition registration
4 shifts = LEAF sticker, LEAF patch AND bandana, LEAF T-shirt, plus free competition registration
TEAM LEADERS ONLY = LEAF sticker, LEAF hat, LEAF poster, LEAF T-Shirt; LEAF bandana OR patch, plus free competition registration
Volunteers must obtain a voucher from the Volunteer Coordinator in order to receive their swag. Volunteers are welcome to pick out their merch swag at the beginning of the festival, BUT their items must remain in the merch tent until all volunteer shifts are complete.
Our volunteers support the festival in many ways including admissions, security, managing traffic/parking, staffing attendee services (Merch Booth, Volunteer Services), trash/recycling pick up and more. Every volunteer is screened and we try to make the best assignment based on skills, talents, and festival needs. We have a real need for overnight security (paid position, plus knock out 2 shifts in one night) and Team Leaders (exclusive, one-of-a-kind swag).
Volunteers must wear festival provided ID on shift. Volunteers are expected to dress appropriately for job duty, check in at the volunteer tent at the start/end of each shift, and generally represent the festival positively.
Volunteers 15-17yo must have waivers signed by guardian and it is preferred they are volunteering with a parent on site.
We will be accepting volunteer applications January 7th - March 20th. We will contact all volunteers to discuss your volunteer placements and shifts and send you your shift schedule by March 25th. Please note: Volunteers who sign up for 3+ shifts will be scheduled first. If you sign up for 1 or 2 shifts, you will likely be called for your volunteer placement and scheduling in later once we see where we have holes to fill.
