The Emergency Shelter Partnership is a local not for profit organization that aids those in need of shelter during the winter months. Our organization runs on funds received through local congregations, various community supporters, individual donors and small grants. It is run by local caring individuals looking to make a difference in the lives of community members.
Would you be willing to make a meal, serve a meal, get involved in some way?
Our season runs from November until April, we feed and house individuals each and every night! We have several safety protocols in place to keep both our volunteer and our guests safe and healthy. Everyone who enters our doors is required to wear a mask and have their temperature checked, we have several air filtration units in the buildings. We are happy to report that last season we were Covid free, not one of our guests developed Covid and all the regular guest left in April being fully vaccinated.
Hot food is needed at approximately 8:45pm, usually brought in an aluminum tray and served buffet style at 9:15pm. The quantity of food and number of meals needed each night varies between 10-25, the higher numbers are usually in the colder months of January / February.
Please take a minute to let us know how you can help us this season, we will get back to you to discuss the details.
