Introducing the Inlandia Writers Craftlab!

Beginning July 2025!

Welcome to the Inlandia *Writers Craftlab, a creative space open to writers of all levels to stretch their abilities and learn new skills! If you enjoy taking things apart to see how they work, or looking at things through a microscope, this is your laboratory to experiment, explore, and discover new things about your writing.

Cost: Pay what you can.

In an effort to increase equitability and access, Writers Craftlab will operate on a new "pay-what-you-can" model with a limited number of partial scholarships available to start. We hope in future to be able to offer more.

What does "pay-what-you-can" mean?

Fees may vary depending upon length of workshop and instructor needs. The below represents our basic formula:

Multi-session workshops allow you to choose a price point based on your own personal circumstances. For the current multi-session workshops, the options are $350, $250, or $150.

Additionally, we have two $100 scholarships available bringing the cost down to $50. To request a scholarship, check the box in this registration form and in the field provided please include two sentences about why you should be selected.

Single-session workshops require only a donation toward the Writers Craftlab Sponsorship Fund.

Why did we change?

This new model allows us to pay our instructors a fair wage while also offering as many scholarships as funding will allow.

>>>If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund in addition to paying for your workshop, THANK YOU.<<<
