Chad will discuss his leadership journey at disruptive retailer Etsy, how he guided the company from chaotic startup in 2011 to IPO and beyond in 2017, and the lessons he has since imparted to dozens of startups as an executive coach in the years following his departure.
As CEO from 2011 to 2017, Dickerson grew Etsy from a chaotic startup to a global publicly-traded company. Under Chad’s leadership, Etsy made the Best Places to Work list every year from 2013 to 2017. The company became a Certified B Corporation in 2012, recognizing the power of business to generate social good. Today, Chad runs an executive coaching practice, Strong Back Open Heart, where he works with CEOs, other C-suite executives and teams to help them grow themselves and their businesses.
