FIE:Camden, New Jersey 2019
FIE: Camden, NJ~ April 15 - 20, 2019. This experience is for Juniors (Class of` `20) and Seniors (Class of `19).
The Urban Challenge Program is an urban, service-learning, immersion experience rooted in the Catholic faith tradition.
Offering a point of access to the lives and stories of the people of Camden, NJ, and its surrounding communities. Camden is considered one of the most economically poor cities in the U.S. and it is only 2 hours from NYC. Students will work with the people of Camden in soup kitchens, after-school programs, and various social service agencies. Students stay at the Romero Center in East Camden. This year marks SFP’s 17th year of partnership with the Romero Center.

10 roster spots are available.
Cost: $400 (financial aid/ scholarship is available.)

Criteria For Selection
- Student must be mature, responsible, hard-working and open to participating in daily prayer and
group sharing, with NO MAJOR DISCIPLINARY OR ACADEMIC PROBLEMS with the school.

- Be able to attend the experience according to listed dates.

-Be men and women for others, willing to give of yourself.
