After School Supervised Study Rules
Students must:
-Arrive punctually and be in their seat in time for the beginning of study.
-Go to the toilet before study so that no interruptions are required.
-Stay for the full session i.e. no late arrivals or early leavers.
-School authorities will not tolerate students loitering in any other part of the school during the study session.
-Be responsible for their desk and the area around it. Litter or graffiti will not be tolerated.
-Study in strict silence.
-No talking whatsoever.No sharing or borrowing of books or equipment is allowed.
-No passing of notes.
-No food or hot drinks allowed in study hall – bottled water only
-Provide a note from Parent/Guardian at the beginning of the year in the event of a regular absence e.g. swimming, music lessons, grinds etc.explaining such absences.
-Attendance is taken every day in study and is available for parents to check at any stage of the year.
-Each student is expected to co-operate fully with the Supervisor and the normal School Code of Conduct applies.
- ICT (phone, tablet, laptop) is NOT permitted to be used in the study hall. No headphones are permitted for any reason.
-Use of ICT, persistent poor time keeping or refusal by a student to co-operate with his/her supervisor will lead to suspension or in serious cases, expulsion from After School Supervised Study. In this situation fees will be forfeited.
