Costumes and Props
While Cosplayers in costume from any genre are welcome at Overload, because
it is essentially an Anime and Manga oriented convention, priority will be given to
appropriate Anime and Manga themed presentations.

Overload is a family-friendly event so any costumes with excessive exposure or
real-world military uniform themes are not permitted. Overload Staff Reserve the Right to decide if
something is unacceptable and request that you not display, or make the required
modification, as necessary.

Any weapons, realistic toy guns and airsoft guns, real martial art items, metal
props (even if they are blunt) and wooden swords are all prohibited.

All props must be checked in at the information desk and verified for safety
before they will be allowed in the venue. An orange safety tag or tip/end will be
affixed to realistic weapon type props items to signify that they have been
checked, are not real weapons, and are an authorised Cosplay prop.

The Overload Cosplay Parade will be commencing on the open stage at 12:30 sharp, however, all participants are required to arrive at the main stage 15 minutes before this time at 12:15. This is so we can organize the order of people going up, and make sure that everyone is there to ensure that things run smoothly.
If you are unable to make it to the main stage by this time we will assume that you are unable to make it.

Each participant or group will be allocated roughly 30-60 seconds to be on stage, due to this we cannot allow any skits or performances.
Stage Safety
Please be aware that the Stage is elevated 600 millimetres (60 centimetres) off the ground.
Falling off the Stage at that height can cause serious injury.
The Overload stage measures 8.4 metres wide by 4.8 metres deep.

Members of the Public are NOT to be invited onto the Stage.

There is no running or acrobatics permitted on stage, please enter and exit the stage area in a calm manner.
Stage Management
Please pay attention and promptly follow any directions you are given by the Event organizers.
