Background and purpose
The study will be conducted as part of a bachelor thesis at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University. The research question is as follows: What challenges do visually impaired people experience when using accessibility features on smartphones?
How will the study be conducted?
Questionnaires will be published in order to collect data to support the study whereas this is one of them. The questions will deal with accessibility features on smartphones and the challenges when using them. There will be around 21 questions and it will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire. The answers from the questionnaire will be analysed by us in order to reach a conclusion for the study. The purpose of the study is to provide information about the challenges visually impaired people experience when using accessibility features on smartphones.
Handling of data
All respondents will remain anonymous. The names of the respondents will not be made public.
Voluntariness
The participation in the questionnaire is completely voluntary. The respondent can choose to end the questionnaire and retract their participation whenever during the questionnaire if that is what they want.
Accountable
The study is conducted by Sabina Dzakulic and Victoria Mészáros.
