We are looking for 30 young people aged 15 - 25 in the city who are eager to take their creativity to the next level and make work in the City of Culture year.

We also encourage applications if you are:

Not in Education, Training or Employment
Care leaver or Looked after
Lived experiences of the Criminal Justice system

For the duration of 8 weeks you will have the opportunity to access masterclasses and a creative resource pack which has been designed for you to continue your artistic development in your own time.

 Over the 8 weeks you will be developing your creative practice and responding to the themes below:

1)Online Branding / Content Creation / Cartoons - Using digital content to explore identity and unity

Or

2) Theatre / Performance / Hosting - Breaking into the industry

Or

3)Spoken Word / Music / Lyricism - Shining a light on safety and using your creative platform to make change!


We will be creating a digital exhibition showcasing the work that you create, and after lockdown you'll have the opportunity to share your work - UNPLUGGED!

Term dates are between:

Thursday 10th December - Sunday 14th February

Weekly sessions are delivered on:

Thursday, Friday and Sunday based on the strand you select.

Sessions are delivered weekly online via Zoom.
