These scholarships focus on Technology EducationTENZ supports learning and teaching in the discipline of Technology Education. Please see
https://technology.tki.org.nz/Technology-in-the-NZC if you are unsure of the breadth and depth of this subject. There is a distinct difference between technology education and the use of technology (ICT and tools) to support learning and this scholarship is not intended to focus on research into the use of information and communication technology to support teaching.
Dissemination of FindingsAn important aspect of these scholarships is the dissemination and sharing of research findings with the wider technology education community. In completing your application please consider how you will undertake this dissemination. For example, which of the following will you undertake:
- Provide a summary of findings to all participants;
- Produce an article for TENZ to share with its members and wider community explaining what you have learned and how it applies to the learning and teaching of technology education;
- Produce a video for the TENZ resource library explaining what you have learned and how it applies to the learning and teaching of technology education;
- Share a relevant reading list with TENZ to share with its members and wider community;
- Present your findings at the national TENZ biennial conference;
- Present your findings at a regional workshop;
- Present your findings at a staff/centre/kura/department/faculty/school meeting;
- Write an article for publication;
