We are engaging with sweetpotato stakeholders in NC to better understand stakeholder needs in regards to a data integration, analytics, and decision support platform that will be used to improve sweetpotato crop productivity, quality, and value for growers, producers, and distributors.

First, we would like to conduct a virtual meeting (phone/video) to identify data, integration and decision needs for sweetpotato growers, and your ideas for improving the sweetpotato industry. We will follow-up with an online questionnaire in a few months. Any and all meetings, interviews, and questionnaires will remain confidential, and only de-identified data will be used in generated results. At no point will your name or company name be used.

If you are interested in participating in this study, you will be asked to:
1) Participate in a 30-60 min. phone or video meeting via a secure web-based platform that explores your needs for a data integration, analytics, and decision support platform focused on your area of expertise;
2) Be available for one follow-up phone or video conversation to clarify questions that may arise after the initial phone/web meeting; and
3) Complete 1 online questionnaire, consisting of 15 semi-structured questions on sweetpotato industry needs for a data integration, analytics, and decision support platform.

The benefits of participating in this study include the opportunity to share a new data integration, analytics, and decision support platform for NC sweetpotato industry that takes into account your needs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with NC State researchers who are interested in improving sweetpotato crop productivity, quality, and value for NC producers, packers, and distributors.
