Evergreen Preschool has the following Board Committees: Finance, Development, Governance, and an ad-hoc Strategic Planning Committee. Each committee is chaired by a Board member, and all Board members serve on at least one committee. Committees help work on specific projects and make recommendations to the Board. Committees such as Finance and Development have had non Board members on them. Committees typically meet 1-2 times a month for an 1-1.5 hours. Committee members do prep work such as research and document drafting outside of meetings. If you are unable to join the Board, or if you aren't interested in joining the Board, does volunteering on a Committee interest you? If yes, please describe further in the next question below.
