Please read through this application very carefully -- there's a lot of important information!

Our infosessions will be 8/31 at 7-8, and 9/1 at 6-7 and 7-8. The zoom link is https://berkeley.zoom.us/j/95745479934. Check facebook or instagram for changes to the infosession.

Below, please ensure (triple check!) that your email address is correct -- we need this to contact you!

Additionally, please keep your email notifications on over the next few days. You will be notified over email if you are selected for an interview and will receive the interview sign-up sheet by the beginning of the day on 9/9.

Application Logistics and Timeline - Please Read Thoroughly!
This application is for those who wish to volunteer with the Suitcase Clinic. It is due by 4pm on Wednesday, September 8th.

Applying to Suitcase Class consists of three steps:

        1) This online application due by 9/7, at 11:59PM. Late applications will not be considered!
        2) A 15-minute interview on 9/10 or 9/121if you move to the second round. Accommodations can be made if this time doesn't work.

You will be notified by email if you have been selected for an interview no later than 9/9.

For those who are accepted, instruction will begin on 9/15 and will last through 12/1.

Class is on Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM, and will be conducted in person. More information will be provided for those who are accepted. Attending every class is absolutely crucial (with exceptions for midterms)!

It is worth noting that Suitcase Clinic's Class has changed significantly every year as we continuously work on improving our curriculum. There will be bumps. Things may not go perfectly, but you have our commitment to do the very best we can to train you to work for a very important cause alongside a disadvantaged population.
Availability and Requirements
 Class students will be required to attend 3 clinics . You may be required to participate in a semester long project.

Project work will entail:
-1 hour-long meeting a week (the time will be determined upon acceptance and in collaboration with project leaders and other students)
-outside work on the project
