Event applications for the 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Week are now open!

This year, Diversity and Inclusion Week will be held from 7 to 11 October.

This week celebrates the diversity of our community and helps foster inclusive practices in our learning environments and workplaces.

As part of Diversity and Inclusion Week, students and staff are strongly encouraged to take the lead in organising events that promote diversity and foster inclusion within our 6 priority areas:

●  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students
●  students from low socio-economic backgrounds
●  gender equality and gender equity
●  staff and students of diverse gender identities, sexes and sexualities
●  staff and students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
●  staff and students with disabilities or ongoing medical or mental health conditions.

Funding will be available to support the running of events and will vary depending on the nature of the event.
