HOBY SHS Application 2024-2025
To qualify as a candidate for the HOBY.  You must:
1. Be a sophomore
2. Write a one paragraph about leadership:  What are the most challenging and rewarding aspects of being a leader?
3. Please submit your application by Friday, November 8th.
4.  Ten selected candidates will then be contacted to schedule an interview.
5. The two selected candidates will be notified prior to Thanksgiving Break.
  • The seminar will take place at University of San Diego. Housing and meals are provided, as they are included in the registration fee (Santiago pays the registration fee for the two selected candidates)
  • The seminar will be held either the third or fourth weekend of June 2025. It would be a Friday morning drop off and Sunday afternoon pickup
