Massed chorus of 100 female voices application / The Old Church
This form is to register your interest in participating in the massed chorus of 100 female voices , a performance of Esmeralda Conde Ruiz's compositions exploring real stories from different generations of women.

The project is open to women singers of all abilities, from beginners to experienced singers of all types. The only requirement is that you commit to learning and rehearsing the piece and are available for the performance on May 11th 2019 and the dress rehearsal (date tbc). We will sing songs all together and there will be harder songs for advanced singers only etc. Would you like to sing advanced, medium or beginners parts?

We will be working with little solar lights for the performance and arm movements. Will you be able to memorise songs to have free hands?

We have two rehearsals a month with composer Esmeralda Conde Ruiz and pianist. Some songs need a bit more work. Would you be able to learn the music at home?

We don’t audition but we ask all new participants to join us for an informal singing workshop on Sunday September 9th 12-2pm at Old Church. Can you make it?

Can you make the performance: evening of Saturday May 11th 2019, 20:30pm. There will be a compulsory dress rehearsal and tech run possibly evening May 8th and May 10th. Can you do those dates?
