Join the Desert Farming Initiative for an overview of produce safety issues facing us today and a practical discussion and demonstration of post-harvest produce handling in our wash house. We’ll also delve into food safety considerations on organic farms and in food hubs in partnership with Basin and Range Organics and the Great Basin Community Food Co-op DROPP.
No workshop fee. Suggested Donation: $10
Stay afterward for appetizers from the farm and local beverages - including a raffle fundraiser for the farm.
