Community conversation on housing insecurity - REGISTRATION -- POSTPONED!
Registration prior to this event is required, as there is a 20-person maximum for attendance.
WE HAVE POSTPONED THE EVENT. IT WILL NOT BE JUNE 26TH. The new date will be announced soon, and you may still register now, and then we will follow up with you to confirm once a new date has been chosen.
Using audio/video recordings from the in-person event, we will have one or more versions of this event (including virtual) later in the Summer, so if you don't make it on June 26th, there will be other chances to participate! (If you aren't comfortable being recorded, don't worry, we will have a way for you to let us know at the event.)
As noted on our flyer, we are particularly interested in attendance from folks who have been directly impacted by housing insecurity. This means, you are or have been concerned about being able to afford your rent, being pushed out of your community, have had issues with your mortgage, taxes, or maintaining your home, or other destabilizing housing circumstances. As part of our work against displacement, we are creating space for storytelling because keeping our stories alive is part of the resistance.
