Statement of Faith
Please type your INITIALS in boxes to show that you have read and understood each section.
We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the Universe, the co-eternal Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Your answer
We believe that Jesus Christ, God's Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death on the cross, rose bodily from the dead and ascended to heaven where, as truly God and truly man, He is the only mediator between God and man.
Your answer
We believe that the Bible is God's authoritative and inspired Word. We believe in the plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, by which we understand the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, given by divine inspiration, inerrantly reveal the will of God concerning us in all things necessary to our salvation. We believe Christians must submit to its divine authority, both individually and corporately, in all matters of belief and conduct, which is demonstrated by true righteous living.
Your answer
We believe that all people are lost sinners and cannot see the Kingdom of God except through the new birth. Justification is by grace through faith in Christ alone.
Your answer
We believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic Church. Its calling is to worship God and witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel among all nations and demonstrating its commitment by compassionate service to the needs of human beings and promoting righteousness and justice.
Your answer
We believe in the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit for the individual's new birth and growth to maturity, and for the Church's constant renewal in truth, wisdom, faith, holiness, love, power, and mission.
Your answer
We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead and bring salvation and judgment to completion. God will fully manifest His Kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and new earth, in which He will be glorified forever, and exclude all evil, suffering, and death.

Moral Responsibility
Many of the adults and children we serve have been harmed by the alcohol abuse. As a result, we asked our interns to completely abstain from consuming alcohol even if they are of legal age while employed by Renovation Community. Do you agree to abstain from consuming alcohol while a Renovation Community Intern?
The adults and children Renovation Community serve have also been harmed and impoverished by the use of a tobacco. We are, therefore, a tobacco-free organization. Do you agree to abstain from any tobacco product while a Renovation Community Intern
During your participation at Renovation Community, church leadership may make decisions that you may not agree with. Renovation Community wants to be a "Teaching Church." When prudent, leadership will give you as much information as is possible to help you understand how/why we arrived at our decisions. In an effort to respect pastor/parishioner confidentiality, however, leadership may not divulge all pertinent information regarding an individual/family. Every decision is made with the best interest of the people we serve, the staff and interns at Renovation Community, and the greater mission of serving our neighbors in love. Do you agree to follow the leadership of Renovation Community?
Renovation Community upholds the biblical standard of conflict resolution found in Matthew 18:15-20. Along these lines, gossip has no place in the ministry of Renovation Community. Do you agree to uphold the biblical standards of Matthew 18:15-20?
Do you understand you may be immediately removed from our program if you teach (either in a formal or informal setting) any doctrinal views contrary to our above doctrinal beliefs?
Do you understand you may be immediately removed from our program if you drink alcohol or use tobacco (whether on church property or off church property) during our program?
