Sheridan Studio of Music Summer 2020 Online Clarinet Camp

What: Online clarinet classes for beginning through college-level clarinet students. Serving students in (rising) grades 5-12.

When: Every weekday from June 15 until July 2.
Times: (You will be assigned to a class by June 9,
Class 1 (No experience whatsoever): 10:00-10:55
Class 2 (1-2 years of school band or equivalent): 11:15-12:10
Class 3 (3-4 years of school band or equivalent): 1:00-2:00
Class 4 (5+ years of school band or equivalent): 2:30-3:30
Class 5 (Very advanced, by invitation): 3:45-4:45

Who can register:
Any clarinetist who wants to improve on clarinet and have fun! Students living in Northern Virginia or anywhere else may enroll.
Registration ends on June 9.
Each class has a minimum enrollment of 8 students, maximum enrollment of 15 students.

Cost:
$175 for the entire camp. This provides an hour of class every weekday with Mrs. Sheridan, access to a wealth of music and recording resources, a curriculum designed to help you gain technical skills far beyond what you can learn in band class, special guest sessions, and fun activities for every level.
Tuition is payable via Zelle (www.zellepay.com) to 703-629-6805 or personal check. Your spot in class is not guaranteed until your payment has been received. There are no refunds or makeup sessions for missed classes.

Equipment & Technology Requirements:
A working clarinet and reeds.
Access to Zoom for daily meetings on a phone/computer/tablet.
A second device to be used to access online content during the Zoom meetings, or a printer to print out music before class to be used concurrently with the Zoom class.

Classes are limited to 15 students per class, and must have a minimum of 8 students per class. Please remember that your spot is not secure until your payment of $175 has been received via Zelle (to 703-629-6805) or personal check made out to Kristen Sheridan and mailed to 9727 Aspen Hollow Way, Fairfax VA 22032. Please contact me if you need to make another payment arrangement at kristensheridan1@gmail.com. There are no refunds or makeups for missed classes, and proper behavior is expected at all times. If there is any kind of inappropriate behavior, the student will be immediately removed from class and no refund will be offered. Parent/guardian agrees to allow the student (aged 10-17) to participate in group online classes hosted by Kristen Sheridan over Zoom, during which students will be asked to regularly participate by speaking and playing their clarinet for others to hear.
