This doesn't have to be perfect, but we do need a reference for your show. Don't worry - if allocated a place, you'll be able to change it up until it's published in our programme.

You can choose as many as appropriate, but we prefer two, one or zero. 

This can be an approximate number. (And please note that we're less limited on time with digital shows!)

Go into detail - let us know what kind of thing we're going to be programming.

Include press and references, if relevant, especially if we don't know you. Write as one professional to another: we don't want a sales pitch. Footage links go in a later question.

Do audience members need any specific technology, equipment, software or requirements for your show? Ie a Zoom account, a computer, an app they need to download, VR headsets, etc…

This is especially important if we don't know you. If there's something you particularly want us to see as we consider your application, put the links to it here. The link to your show goes into a different box if you already have it (but it’s not necessary at this point!). Make it relevant - if your show/ performance style is highly visual, we need visual footage. If it's going to be a podcast, we need decent quality audio, etc. Can be any footage of you performing if you don’t have any of your show.

This is necessary to specify if your show is for people under 18 years of age, vulnerable, or if you are using an interactive video medium such as Zoom. We want to ensure that the audience - and you - have a good time.

If you've done twenty years, don't give them all; we'll know you anyway. We don't need very long answers here.

If your show is playing at a specific time on a specific date, please specify clearly all dates and times below: Please include every time and date - it’s laborious we know, but it helps us make sure we don’t miss a listing!

Please tell us in "Edinburgh time" ie British Summertime and in a 24 hour format, eg 3pm will be 15:00

We understand that being online shows will be able to broadcast simultaneously, but 5 magic shows all starting at the same time won't be good for your audience

If so, whack it in - easy! If not - if you’re still creating your show - don’t worry, we will be asking for this closer to the time.

Have you applied to the in-person PBH Free Fringe for 2026? If so, please give your show reference number.
