Café Nights are an opportunity for people to exchange knowledge, connect, explore new ideas, and build a broader, stronger, and more connected innovation community in Boston. Every Café Night includes a variety of programming: we mainly host panels, workshops, demos, interactive exhibits, and conversations -- but we're open to any and all ideas!
If you are interested in hosting a table, workshop or interactive activity at our next Café Night on Wednesday, June 27th, please submit this form.
Your table, workshop, activity or exhibit proposal should highlight how your organization takes a creative approach to improve life for residents. We require each organization to think beyond the standard info table with brochure display and find on-theme engaging ways to make meaningful connections with attendees. The goal is to foster a creative space for people to engage, learn, and create meaningful connections. Café Nights programming is free, open to the public and INCLUSIVE to all people, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, education, or any other factor. The event is focused broadly on innovation (across various industries) and entrepreneurship and is an opportunity for attendees to learn new skills and ideas, build connections, and solve problems.
IMPORTANT: 1. Café Nights are NOT typical networking events nor "Happy Hours." This is a place where people feel safe to come and connect! 2. Participation is about sharing information and expanding ideas, and NOT a chance to sell a service. Guests should be able to leave with knowledge they didn’t previously have, or an idea that sparks action or a new way of thinking. 3. We do not share our lists with any group. If you would like to connect with participants in your session, you will be responsible for collecting names & emails. 4. We ask that participants arrive roughly 20 minutes before the event starts and stay through the entire event, roughly 4:40pm - 8pm.
