On behalf of Wye Float, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for registering as an event volunteer. We are absolutely thrilled that you have chosen to lend your support to our event.

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and well-organised event, we kindly request that all volunteers attend a mandatory safety briefing. This briefing is essential for familiarising you with important safety protocols and procedures that will help us maintain a secure environment for both participants and volunteers.

Job roles: river rescue, car parking, stewarding/ marshalling, media, tickets sales and merchandise, bus stewarding or help us with setup/ take down.

Setup- Thursday & Friday

Takedown- Sunday

Please take note of the following briefing times for specific volunteer roles:

Land-based volunteers (car parking marshals, event stewards, and ticket sales) are required to attend the safety briefing at 8:00 am.
The Media team is kindly requested to attend the safety briefing at 10:00 am.
For volunteers involved in River Safety, arrive by 10:00 am with the safety brief at 11:00 am. If you wish to attend early to assit the land based team then please arrive for the 08:00 brief.

If you are planning on camping, you need have your vehicle in position before 09: 00h as there will be no vehicle movements after this time.

Attendance at the respective briefing times will ensure that you are well-prepared and equipped to carry out your volunteer duties in a safe and responsible manner.
