Registration for Grief Workshop/Retreat with Allison Brown and Roxie Valdivieso
I have decided the only way to LIVE is to embrace grief.  For grief only exists where love lived first.                           - Francesca Cox

Allison Brown is a certified Master Jungian Life Coach and Spiritual Director of Christian Formation and Direction Ministries.  Allison currently has a private life coaching practice where she helps individuals live into their purpose, improve their relationships (most importantly the one you have with yourself), and break free of early conditioning that keeps us stuck in old patterns.  Allison has also enjoyed leading a variety of small group experiences in the last two decades in churches, at her home, and in the community.

Roxie Valdivieso is an ordained pastor of United Metaphysical Churches and certified practicing Reiki Master-Teacher. Roxie currently leads a grief group for those who have lost a child and has led a variety of meditation/healing circles throughout the years.   Roxie lost her daughter, Averi to cancer almost 16 years ago as well as losing her sister and father.  Allison lost her mother, Barbara unexpectedly in a tragic car accident almost 4 years ago.  Together, Roxie and Allison have a shared belief that grief needs a sacred space to be held in community.  Grief often is a personal and lonely journey.  Until you have lost someone important to you, one may not be prepared for all of emotions, feelings, doubts, regrets, and questions that may arise. "If grief could speak, what would it say?"

David Kessler writes in his book, Finding Meaning, The Sixth Stage of Grief that "grief simply needs a witness."  Together, we are preparing a safe space in which we can explore, share, and support each other through what we have experienced in grief. Grief never goes away, but it does change with time. If you have lost someone close to you, there is a space for you to come just as you are.  Love never ends...
