This student is applying to the Pathways in Ecological Research (PiER) program at Lacawac Sanctuary and Biological Field Station. PiER is an academic program focused on providing high-achieving high school female students with rigorous field and laboratory experiences at Lacawac Sanctuary and local colleges and universities under the mentorship of female faculty, students, and staff. The students will gain valuable experience in advanced research and will design and complete a research project.

PiER will require committed participation by the student to develop and complete a project outside of regular school and personal obligations. Please complete this evaluation based on your knowledge of the student’s academic abilities and motivation to complete assigned tasks. Your responses will be kept private between you and the Lacawac Sanctuary Staff.
