Power Up with Pride 2025 Volunteer Form

Power Up with Pride 2025 will be running from Friday June 13, 2025 to Sunday June 15, 2025 and we are looking for a variety of volunteers!

Please fill out the form for each area you wish to help with. They are in order - Hosting, Restreaming, Pre-Flight Check, Twitch Chat Moderation, Social Media, VOD Cutting, Tech Check, and PUWP Team.

Power Up with Pride 2025 will be supporting True Colors United! In America, up to 4.2 million youth and young adults experience homelessness each year, with Black, Latine, and LGBTQ+ youth disproportionately experiencing harm. True Colors United is ending youth homelessness by transforming systems, building the power of youth with lived experience of homelessness, and advocating for change from the grassroots to the global stage.

Please note - The request for emails is *only* to allow applicants to request copies of their applications and to grant applicants the ability to edit their responses if needed. Emails may also be used in the event that staff cannot contact an applicant via Discord. By default, all volunteer communication will be conducted via Discord.

General Questions (for all volunteers)

This should be your display name or preferred name. We do not require full legal names for our volunteers.

Which positions do you want to volunteer for? - For each of these, you will be asked a couple questions. *

Host - Reads out donations and event information on stream during the event, along with assisting with Tiltify management.

Restreamer - Logs into our dedicated restream PC and controls OBS from there to stream content to the Power up with Pride Twitch channel.

Pre-Flight Check - Does stream checks in the 30 minutes before each runner goes live, ensuring that the setup is correct, and helps maintain communication with the restreamer and team/staff as needed.

Chat Moderator - Helps to moderate content in Twitch Chat for the duration for the event.

Social Media - Working with staff to write posts and send them out at the appropriate time (before a run or when close to a big incentive)

VOD Cutter - Creating highlights of runs or other showcases and organizing them into collections

Tech Check - Ensures all participants are set up properly to minimize issues during the event. PUWP currently offers tech checks on an as-needed-basis.

All of our organizing and communication is done through Discord. You provided your Discord tag in the application so that staff can contact you by finding you in our server. If you apply and do not join the server, your application will be ignored.
