Each year, we offer scholarships to people who might not otherwise be able to participate in Wild Abundance Classes. We do this in hopes of fostering a strong and powerfully diverse community of Earth-centered people steeped in the knowledge that Wild Abundance has to offer. Our hope is that they can, in turn, work in their own greater communities, spreading this knowledge and sharing the skills they have learned with others.

We consider scholarships an important part of increasing accessibility to essential knowledge that has the potential to empower, connect, and uplift individuals and communities.

Currently, we offer three types of full scholarships for the Tiny House Academy:

1. Needs-Based Scholarship: For folks who otherwise could not afford this program (if you have a workable income , please choose the partial scholarship on the previous page, and leave these spots for folks who simply  cannot afford that option). We encourage you to apply for this scholarship if you are: very low income, a low income single parent, a low income single caretaker for other dependent(s), an at-risk youth, a refugee, and/or a survivor of domestic/sexual violence.

2. Community Scholarship: For folks who plan to share the knowledge from this class with a larger network, organization, or community. Special priority is given to folks who work with underserved and institutionally oppressed populations.

3. Racial Equity Scholarship: For Black, Indigenous and other People of Color (BIPOC), to acknowledge current and historic institutional racism, oppression and injustice. We also offer this scholarship because we recognize how white privilege and racism continually manifest in the culture of Earth-based living, both locally and at large. These forces divide and exclude along the lines of race, and we feel it's important to work against them.

Your purchase supports our ability to offer scholarships and frees up spots for a greater number of applicants.
