The summer months have provided some sunshine in recent weeks, and I hope you are enjoying every minute to date. The first day of school is August 31, 2021, and it is quickly approaching! As the pandemic continues, we are intent on opening school to all students in-person five days a week as we did last year. The Board has reviewed our Back to School Plan available on our website at:
, and proceed with this survey. For SAU #58 to access the federal grant dollars for ESSER III the New Hampshire Department of Education requires us to provide an updated reopening plan for the Fall of 2021 based on current data, and give you an opportunity to review our LEA ARP ESSER Plan for use of funds and leave comments. If you need a written translation, alternative format due to a disability, or know someone with limited English proficiency, please contact the SAU immediately. As always, you may call the SAU for further information.
MASKS will be required on school buses, per federal regulation. The School Boards determined masks will be optional indoors at this time. We were VERY successful in the 2020-2021 school year with in person education five days a week. We are confident that we will reopen in the Fall of 2021 consistent with the values and expectations of the community.
Your voice is important to us, and your responses will further inform our decision-making process throughout the year. Our framework is intended to be clear enough that we know what to expect regardless of the situation as we prepare to come back to school and to be flexible enough to adjust quickly should data, science, or an Executive Order require us to do so. Please review the plan with the link provided on our website and submit your feedback in this survey.
The survey closes August 20, 2021, at 3:00PM. Thank you in advance for your continued input and voice. Please see Facebook and our websites for current information.
