Phoenix Panhellenic Association is once again offering scholarship awards to Arizona women who are initiated members of one of the twenty-six member organizations of National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Although scholarship amounts may vary from year to year $50,000 was awarded to twenty-eight Arizona undergraduates and alumnae last April. Scholarship checks will be made out to the university that the student will attend. Previous recipients may apply in succeeding years. Scholarship decisions are based on academics; contributions to sorority, school, and community; and financial need. 

Criteria for Scholarship Consideration: 

• Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale). 

• Enrolled as a degree-pursuing student for fall semester 2026 in (1) a college or university in Arizona or (2) an online college or university, as long as you are a resident of Arizona (Continuing Education only). 

• Active initiated member, in good standing, of a collegiate or alumnae sorority chapter that is a member organization of National Panhellenic Conference and is active within Phoenix Panhellenic Association.

    * Eligible Collegiate Groups are: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Delta Phi Epsilon, Delta Zeta, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Theta Phi Alpha, Zeta Tau Alpha  

• If an alumna member, the alumnae chapter must be in good standing with Phoenix Panhellenic Association and eligible for alumnae scholarships (Please check with your PPA Delegate to determine if your member group is currently in good standing and eligible). 

* Eligible Alumnae Groups are: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Phi Epsilon, Delta Zeta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Kappa, Theta Phi Alpha

You may edit your responses to this application at any time until the deadline of February 28, 2026, as long as you are using the same computer and have not cleared your computer's cookies. 

In addition to this application, you must also submit the following: 

- Your most recent UNOFFICIAL transcript 

- Your resume (should include work, volunteer activities, and leadership roles identified in this application)

- At least one letter of recommendation from someone affiliated with your sorority who is familiar with your academic achievements, leadership abilities, and/or personal character (i.e., chapter adviser, sorority alumna, or chapter executive officer) 

- At least one letter of recommendation from someone NOT affiliated with your sorority who is familiar with your academic achievements, leadership abilities, and/or personal character (i.e., instructor, employer or other organization leader) 

Any information received in addition to that requested above, including but not limited to, personal financial information, will be destroyed upon receipt. 

These items must be received via email on or before February 28, 2026. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Only applications with all requested materials will be considered by the Scholarship Rewards Committee. Applicants will be notified prior to March 3, 2026, via email, that their application and supplemental data has been received. 

Scholarship winners will be notified via email or telephone call by April 15, 2026. An OFFICIAL transcript will be required by the winner in order to receive your award. Scholarship certificates will be presented at the Phoenix Panhellenic Association's Sisterhood Soiree event in April 2026.  Scholarship checks will be sent to the corresponding universities in July 2026.
