OAM User Requirements Survey
Thank you for participating in this survey! It should take no more than 10 minutes and it will help us to identify user requirements and ideas for the development of Open Aerial Map. See this link for more details about the project:

Note: please complete this survey ONLY if you and your organization have experience with creating and updating maps using aerial imagery.

Section 1 of the survey is targeted to those users coming to a platform like OAM looking for imagery.

Section 2 includes specific questions for power-user and providers who would also like to contribute imagery to OAM.

Sections 3 is used to collect contact information and general feedback about OAM.

Section 1: End-User Survey
Please complete this section if you are an imagery end-user. Typically this means that you would come to OAM looking for imagery to use in your applications (JOSM, Web maps, ArcGIS, etc), but you do not have imagery to contribute to the project.

If you consider yourself a power-user, who can also provide imagery, please complete the second section as well, otherwise skip to section 3 after finishing section 1.

What is the typical resolution of imagery used in your projects?
What type of mapping clients do you work with to access aerial imagery?
Are you interested in source data or mostly just tiles for visualization?
How many users need concurrent access to the imagery during your mapping activities?
What is the main purpose for the imagery you are looking for in OAM?

Section 2: Power Users and Imagery Providers
Please complete this sections if you have imagery that you currently share with others user and that you would eventually contribute to OAM. This type of providers may include drone/UAV mappers, organizations that procure satellite imagery, and aerial survey companies.

Power users are also those who would like to download OAM software to share their imagery with a team for mapping in disconnected environments.
