This program is not a spectator sport. This program is intended to inspire participants to participate in local elections, with participants developing skills to apply to a campaign of their choice in the months following the three workshop days. The skills you'll learn will be applicable beyond the work of typical volunteers -- beyond canvassing, phone, and text-banking -- and will set you up to support a campaign of your choice for 10 hours or more each week. Some of our alum were able to land part-time jobs as a result of their skills. We will not place you into volunteer or paid positions, but we will hold you to this level of rigor during the program. Please confirm your commitment to practicing what you learn during the general election, from September through November 2024.
