Thank you for your interest in attending a technical tour after the Regional Conference on March 18th, 2017. We have four available tours for you to choose from, with each description and requirements shown.

Ball Aerospace Tour (Boulder, CO @ 5:00 PM) - TOUR IS CLOSED TO REGISTRATION
The tour would be of Ball Aerospace’s Fischer Complex, which is where Ball builds and tests all of their space hardware, including both instruments and spacecraft. The tour would include a viewing of the Joint Polar Satellite Systems (JPSS), the nation’s next generation weather satellite, and an introduction to their test facilities, including a close-up look at their thermal vacuum chambers and their vibration tables, where all of their instruments and spacecraft are tested. There may also be some surprises, as we never know what might be available to see on their tours from week-to-week!

There are requirements for the tour, and they are listed below:
· U.S. Citizenship required
· Bring a valid photo ID to check-in with Security
· Minimum Age – 16
· Must wear closed-toed, comfortable shoes
· No pictures allowed (please leave cell phones in car)

Denver Aquarium Tour (Denver, CO @ 4:00 PM)
This tour requires attendees to leave the conference early at 3:00 PM in order to drive to downtown and get to the tour.

Get a behinds the scenes tour of the aquarium in the middle of the Rockies. Learn about the unique water and wastewater processing system which maintains the home to over 500 species of animals. The tour will last approximately 1 hour, and your ticket includes admission to the aquarium afterwards; slip resistant shoes are required.

CDoT Facility Tour (Golden, CO @ 4:00 PM)
CDOT Traffic Management Center:
The tour will consist of an overview of the Colorado Traffic Operations center which will cover:
1. Camera usage for traffic observation
2. Event/Incident detection
3. Software
4 System overview

Max amount of people: 10 - 15

Cannonball Brewery Tour (Golden, CO @ 4:30 PM)
Learn how a micro-brewery runs and the process to get the delectable nectar.

Cannonball Creek Brewing Company was founded by Co-Owners, Jason Stengl and Brian Hutchinson, who met while brewing together at Mountain Sun Pub and Brewery. The two of them have over 20 years of combined brewing experience, and since opening Cannonball Creek four years ago, they have won seven prestigious medals from World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival. We take pride in our hard work, knowledgeable staff, and appreciation for craft beer and it's industry, so we hope you enjoy the beers and the tour of our brewery!
