Orality, Memory, Performance Criticism, and Related Disciplines
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Room: 310 (Third Level) - Hynes Convention Center (HCC)
A networking event for all those interested in Orality, Memory, Performance Criticism, and Related Disciplines. This year, brief performances of Hebrew Bible texts will spark discussions across disciplinary borders, bridging the areas of oral culture, social identity, collective memory, scribes & scrolls, public & private reading, ancient performances, classical rhetoric, and more. This networking event follows the related workshop, does not require preregistration or fees, and provides an opportunity to meet with scholars who share common interests. If you have any questions, please email Peter Perry at
