Patrick Hunter is a 2Spirit Ojibway Woodland artist from the community of Red Lake, in North Western Ontario. Patrick paints what he sees through a spiritual lens which is inspired by his homeland and growing up seeing the original works of Woodland painter Norval Morrisseau in various buildings around his home town.
You will learn:
- The fundamentals of painting/techniques in a fun and positive environment
- The importance of mental health and healing through the arts
- The spiritual significance/history of the Woodland Art from in Indigenous Communities
Space is limited. Once maximum registrations are reached we will place folks on our wait list.
No cost to attend.
Due to the limited seats available registrants will receive a final confirmation reminder one week before the event and will have 48 hours to respond. Registrants who do not confirm their attendance will be removed from the attendees list and individuals from the wait list will be contacted in the order their application was received.
