NHTM Mathematics Education Major, Mathematics Major, and Elementary Education Scholarship (College Student)
The New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics is pleased to announce it will provide a $1000 scholarship for 2019-2020 to a New Hampshire student preparing for certification to teach mathematics.

•New Hampshire resident
•enrolled in a certification program for middle school or secondary mathematics education; or elementary education; or a mathematics major with the intent of teaching mathematics
•junior or senior status in 2019-2020 Academic Year
•preference to students attending New Hampshire institutions of higher education

Selection Criteria
•academic achievement
•evidence of promise as a teacher of mathematics
•financial need

1. Complete and submit the application form below
2. Email or mail a copy of all your college transcripts
3. Email or mail two letters of recommendation
4. Email or mail a statement of financial need (FAFSA Student Aid Report with Expected Family Contribution)

Awarding of Scholarship:

The recipient will be notified by May 31, 2019. The award will be issued to the recipient’s college as payment toward fall 2019 semester tuition.

The deadline to apply is May 1, 2019.
