World War 1 Remembrance Day (Steam event) - Submission form

A Steam event dedicated to games that share the stories, battles and legacy of the First World War.

The World War 1 Remembrance Event is a curated Steam event celebrating games set during or inspired by World War 1. Over the course of a week, participating titles will be featured together in a themed Steam event with discounts, demos (optional), and increased visibility for developers creating meaningful historical, tactical, narrative or action-driven WW1 experiences.

Whether your game focuses on frontline combat, historical storytelling, strategy, survival or the human side of war, this event aims to highlight experiences that keep the memory and atmosphere of World War 1 alive.

Submission deadline: August 31st
Planned event dates: November 9th (the week of November 11th)
Steam approval status: Pending Steam approval

Which Games Can Apply?

We’re looking for games where World War 1 is a central part of the setting, gameplay or narrative experience.

Eligible submissions include:

  • Released games currently available on Steam
  • Upcoming unreleased titles with an active Steam page
  • Games with playable demos (optional)
  • In-development projects that strongly fit the theme

Suitable submissions may include:

  • Historical shooters
  • Tactical and strategy games
  • Narrative experiences
  • Survival games
  • Educational or historically inspired projects
  • Multiplayer or single-player WW1 experiences

Not Eligible

The following submissions are generally not a good fit:

  • Games unrelated to World War 1
  • Projects without an active Steam store page
  • Asset flips or low-effort submissions
  • Incomplete applications lacking essential information
  • Games that misrepresent their genre, setting or content

Selection Process

The World War 1 Remembrance Event is a curated event.

Submitting your game does not guarantee participation, but every application will be reviewed carefully.

Event Notes

  • Steam featuring is not guaranteed
  • Discounts are encouraged, but not mandatory
  • Demos are welcome, but optional
  • Final participation details will be shared with selected developers
  • Event scheduling may change depending on Steam approval timelines
