Target group
The Summer School welcomes young people aged 18-30 from  Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania.
Three participants from every place of residence will be selected to attend the summer school.

- role of science in peacebuilding
- from idea to peace: how to write a project
- hate speech and freedom of speech
- creating space for inclusive memory
- minority voices
You will also have opportunity to atend to theatre plays, music concerts and other artistic events.
Profile of participants:
- Able to work actively in English
 - Curious, open-minded, appreciate diversity, willing to learn about each other’s realities
 - Committed to taking part in the whole duration of the Festival
 - Motivated to learn and apply the gained competencies
 - Interested in peacebuilding, human rights, historical revisionism, strategies of reconciliation, peacebuilding projects
 - Young people who want to create positive changes in their communities
 
Previous participation in similar activities or active involvement in youth and community projects is not crucial. Participants are also expected to take part in public activities during the Reconciliation Festival.
The Festival is supported by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office - RYCO, Swiss Government, within the project "Culture for democracy", which is contested by the Hartefakt Fund and ForumZFD.
