Dear Partners,

Thank you for participating in the project "Global Opportunities for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in Central Asia and Caucasus (GO4SDGs in Central Asia)" supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The project aims to enhance the knowledge and capacity of universities in Central Asia and the Caucasus in implementing sustainable lifestyles, contributing to the principles of a low-carbon and circular economy. In this regard, the GO4SDGs concept has made a valuable contribution by presenting the book "The Little Book of Green Nudges" and a program for positive changes in universities.

Green Nudges are an approach that gently encourages people to take more environmentally sustainable actions by offering accessible "green" choices. This principle differs from environmental actions in the formation of habits in everyday life through choice and the creation of a supportive environment.

We aim to create an environment for conscious choice of more environmentally friendly and sustainable options in everyday life, such as 1) reducing energy consumption, 2) conserving water resources, 3) introducing sustainable diet principles, 4) conscious consumption, 5) sustainable transport, 6) food waste management, 7) recycling and moving to separate collection, and 8) community building, student and staff involvement in maintaining green incentives.

Part 1. Energy conservation

Part 2. Water conservation

Part 3. Sustainable diets

Part 4. Reduced material consumption
