Summer tours are held on week days from June 19, 2017 and end on July 28, 2017.
This form is for school and community groups of 6 or more guests.
Check-in timeOur tours start on the hour, however, check-in is 15 minutes prior to your group tour start. Please allow yourself enough travel time to account for traffic and possible need to use restrooms prior to your check-in time. If you are unable to make your check-in time, please call to let us know you are still coming. Groups that arrive for their tour 15 minutes after the time their tour was meant to begin may not receive a tour given limited availability of our students and volume of guests that wish to visit our campus. If we are not able to provide a guided tour due to tardiness, we will provide self-guided tour information.
Chaperone responsibilityWe require one chaperone for every minor on our campus, at minimum (i.e. a group of 50 students requires 5 chaperones). We ask that chaperones be involved with the visit--participating in the group tour and monitoring student behavior. Chaperones must provide ongoing supervision for the group at all times. If chaperones leave the group during the tour to continue without them, the tour will cease. It is the chaperones responsibility to convey rules and expectations to the group as listed below.
Student responsibilitySF State expects students to be respectful of each other, our student guide, staff, presenters and property. The purpose of this tour is for students to explore options in higher education and learn about some of what SF State has to offer. Though this is a fun experience and our students welcome the opportunity for students to ask questions and engage, it is important that students know they are guests on our campus.
