EE Academy Call for Abstracts
Thanks for your interest in participating in this years Ecological Economics (EE) Academy, a symposium for emerging researchers in ecological economics, and related fields. The EE Academy offers emerging scholars with the opportunity to gather meaningful feedback and mentorship on their research from thought leaders in their respective fields, while fostering a sense of community within the division.
This year's EE Academy is hosted in partnership with the Institute for Integrated Energy Systems - University of Victoria and the David Suzuki Foundation. Emerging scholars can expect interactive and thought provoking discussions, practical workshops, and community building. We welcome scholars from all related disciplines.
Our theme for this year's Academy is "Inclusive Futures". Though broad in framing, we encourage submissions with clear and identifiable outcomes for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Thus, we encourage submissions on topics related to:
1) Sustainable economic recovery
2) Inclusive circular economies
3) Nature-based solutions and ecosystem services
4) Just low-carbon transitions
The 2022 EE Academy will be hosted virtually from May 27-28, with options for regional gatherings, depending on the current state of the pandemic. Submissions are due by February 15.
