2026-2027 6th Grade Elective Selection Form
Welcome incoming 6th grade Kelly Park School students!  This is your Elective Course Request form for the 2026-2027 school year.  Electives listed on this form are not guaranteed to be offered. Your school counselor will strive to honor your requests.

For the 2026-2027 school year, students will be placed in advanced or standard classes by their counselor based on a variety of data provided by Orange County Public Schools.  Some of these data points include two-year previous FAST performance, grades, and academic history. Any student that scores a Level 1 or 2 on the FAST Reading and/or Math may be scheduled in a yearlong literacy course and/or Intensive Math class in place of an elective.

I understand this is an elective request and that elective options may change. This is not a guarantee of what electives I will be placed in for next year.  Final elective options will be based on student enrollment, teacher certification and student interests. **FAST scores, low grades and the possible need for Reading/Math intervention may affect how many electives my schedule will allow.** *
RANK your choices for electives in order of preference, #1 being your FIRST choice and #5 being your LAST choice. If you do not choose electives, your counselor will choose for you based on course availability.
