LETTS JUMP INTO LATVIAN Survey
Thank-you to everyone who has participated in the LETTS JUMP INTO LATVIAN project, whether you have checked out the resources on the LNAK (Latvian National Federation in Canada) website, joined the WhatsApp group, attended the January 31 launch, or are hoping to join us in improving your Latvian.

The purpose of this survey is two-fold:
- to get your feedback on the Latvian language resource section on the website
- to find out what you would like to see in the future in terms of in-person events, be they get-togethers, structured courses or weekend seminars etc.

Please complete this survey as soon as possible, primarily because we are hoping to plan an in-person seminar for the May 24 and /or June 14 weekend.  If we determine that there is interest, we need to forge ahead with the planning and financing to make the event the best it can be.

We have started publishing a monthly calendar called SPARKS/DZIRKSTELES with activities and information for each day of the month. What themes/activities on the monthly SPARKS/DZIRKSTELES are of most interest to you?

During our January 31 session, a number of suggestions were made about NEXT STEPS (building or integrating into a Latvian language community) 
Let's consider some options!
A:  LANGUAGE WEEKEND (OR WEEKENDS)
Sidrabene (a Latvian camp near Burlington) has graciously proposed that we organize a language seminar there.
It was proposed that we have a language seminar at Sidrabene (Burlington) on either May 24 or June 14/15.  Would you be interested in attending:

List the kinds of activities that you would benefit from most during the seminar (ex. workshops, teaching lessons, discussion, role plays, hands-on activities etc.)
What themes or topics would you benefit from most? (ex. building vocabulary, 10 most frequent grammar mistakes, immersion, pronunciation)

B: STRUCTURED CLASSES OR TUTORS
It was suggested that structured language classes be offered in different cities where there is demand, or online with a paid instructor.
