Space is limited. Top consideration will be given to those applicants who make a fundraising commitment above the required $10,000 minimum and provide detailed fundraising plans to support their commitment and why they want to run representing Marisa's Mission.

Qualified runners who secured a bib on their own through the Boston Athletic Association are also welcome to join our team.

Runners are responsible for paying their Boston Marathon entry fee directly to the B.A.A., and this registration fee does not count towards the fundraising minimum.

While the required fundraising minimum to be part of the Marisa's Mission Marathon Team is $10,000 per runner ($2,000 for qualified runners), we encourage and expect team members to set a higher personal goal. What will be your personal fundraising goal?  Top consideration will be given to those applicants who commit to a higher fundraising commitment. All accepted runners will receive a team singlet, team jacket, and welcome gift.

Should you be accepted to our team, Marisa's Mission will contact you. At that time, you will be required to submit a $100 non-refundable application fee which will be applied to your fundraising minimum. You will also be required to create a GivenGain fundraising page and provide a valid credit card to keep on file. 

You will be required to raise a minimum amount of money by specific dates along the way. Should you not meet your fundraising requirement and have not reached out to us with a plan or reason by that date, you will be charged the amount needed to raise.
